Hi all, i have a few questions if any one could help me find the answers that would be greatly appreciated.
I have been installing, designing, maintaining and fault finding PV systems for the last 3 years (yep since before the FIT's and back when the number of installers in the UK numbered less than 100 and before the guilds released the solar course 2377 i think it was) I have had my in hand probably close to 500 installations from the initial site visit to final hand over including all the steps in between and after care. I have been meaning to get the bit of paper that says i can do these things, but due the recent chaos things have been put back, and diversification (if that's even a word) is now what i'm after.
I have been looking at the 2399 course, what i'm unclear about is, is the 2399 the base course and then you bolt on the solar PV, solar thermal, heat pumps etc? or have i missed the point? if i am right about the bolts on's, is the an ASHP add-on and other renewable technologies? Where would you guys recommend i choose to study (centers etc)
thanks in advance
