to turn the lights on and off along with the switch that is already installed inside.?? if so could someone kindly tell me the correct way of wiring the timer into the lighting circuit.

do you want the switch to override the timer so you can switch on manually even if the timer is off?

ok, you feed the timer first. from your info, L to terminal 2. N to terminal 4. your light is L from terminal 1, N from terminal 4. then you connect you switch common to 2, L1 to 1. ( obvoiusly, connect earths , and make sure supply is isolated before you start.

on a 2nd look at to timer , may need to link terminals 2 and 3.

Hi i have drawn a couple of sketches to show what i have now and how i think it should be wired your way (by the description) would you mind just taking a quick look at the sketches when you have time to see if i have understood it correctly.

regards

tony
