My friend has asked me to wire up a water heater which uses 2 x 3KW supply, its made by gledhill.
At the minute if i was to temp up the supply to one of the 3KW elements would it be ok on a 13a fused spur taken from the ring main protected by a 32a RCBO, which has 7 sockets on it, fed from the fused spur with 2.5mm heat resistant flex?
OR
Could i use a 13a plug top straight from one of the sockets with 2.5mm heat resistant flex?
The supply will only be used to heat the water and then turned off again.
any help will be greatly appreciated
