What happens in a Distribution board, surely you would presume that grey is live, as it is a phase(line) conductor? Would you sleeve it in the D/board, but not at the other end?No you wont find it in our VAGUE regs
Sorry what i should have said is the grey is acepted as neutral among sparksmost sparks i know use the grey for N some sleeve it blue others dont bother,at the end of the day if a grey wire goes into a terminal marked N and has a blue coming out the other side it doesnt take much working out does it,and to be honest anyone who cant fathem out which wire is N then they have no business messing
Grey should ALWAYS be sleeved blue, if it is used as a neutral. The grey area for me is, do you sleeve a grey cable brown, if it is used as a live, i.e in an emergency fitting where grey is perhaps the emergency feed?
IIRC, we used to sleeve blue and yellow cores red (for instance a 3 core cable used for 2 way switching), so should we always sleeve black and grey?
