Hi, client wants lights dimmed at 3 separate points controlling one light, I don’t think it’s possible without a smart system etc, any thoughts?

I believe Standard rotary dimmers can't be parallel up, you have one dimmer and then normal switches

there are loads of smart switches now that fit on a normal back box if they want to go down that route

The Varilight v pro smart dimmer can do this. They look like a normal dimmer but you need a master unit and then as many slaves as you need, and can be dimmed from any switch.
That's a really useful steer. I wasn't aware of these. And they are not 'smart' (ie not wi-fi) which is a blessing.
just one comment - the spec sheet for the master says max two slave units ('Dimming from up to 3 locations'). Don't know if that is still current.

Much as I love Quinetic stuff and use it a lot, I have had mixed results with the dimmers which seem to be rather fussy about what they work with, so it's always worth doing a trial with just one before buying a load of them.
Personally, i dislike dimming lights anyway, but i know others are keen on this.
