303 testing practical exam

Hey, ive got my 303 testing exam coming up just wondering if any1 has just done it and if u have any advice? Thanks in advance. j

hi fairly easy exam. have a read through the sequence of tests and also get to grips with the safe isolation procedure. also good luck with it. don`t stress too much what you have done in the past will hold it together for you

Well I found when I sat mine a few months ago that the time limit was very tight so make sure you are familiar with the meter you are using and that you are also familiar with the paperwork you are filling out.

Most tutors will give you a nudge in the right direction if you have a bit of a stumble. keep calm throughout. Also remember that when carrying out insulation resistance tests that you can use the grouping method to get the results in a fraction of the time.

Also, most importantly remember to lock off properly and use proving unit and shrouds for meter tips as if you don't this can mean instant fail

Is that different from the 2391-10 because thats the one I am to referring to above???

the 302 and 303 are not a million miles away from the 2391 tbh.
