Hi,

I'm doing some research to see if I'll be able to add an electric 240V/30A washer/dryer combo to my condo. Please see attached photos, I have a 30A subpanel in my condo unit; would it be possible to add a larger panel with more spaces and run this washer/dryer combo or is the 30A subpanel just not enough power?

If not enough power, would it be possible to increase the 30A breaker in the basement to a 60A or 100A breaker this way this would then feed to the larger panel that is installed in my condo unit?

Thank you!

By code you need a 20 amp single pole breaker with a GFCI receptacle for your washer and a 30 amp double pole breaker for your dryer. According to the 2020 NEC the dryer also has to be GFCI also

Thank you for the reply. After further looking into this it seems like I only have 30amps coming to my panel in my condo. Seeing if I can install a washer/dryer combo that's gas this way I only need 120V.
