Hello all,

I am currently working towards MCS accreditation,
Im my quotations i want to include a 3d outline plan of the proposed system on the roof,
what programs is everyone using. I know of google sketchup although difficult to use, and pvsol although i have not looked in depth into it yet.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

I think you need to use PV-SOL expert to use 3D. I've used it and it's reasonably easy to use. It's expensive but incredibly handy. It'll make your quotation look far more impressive.

I have version 3 of PVSOl not 4 so it doesent have the 3d feature, however long term PVSOL does seem the best suited program for the UK market, it is expensive but they all seem to be.

Thanks for your replies,
yes i now agree after looking through details today, my friend has just returned from Cyprus and they stipulate you must use the pvsol software to be eligable to claim FITs for clients. extra 400 pound for the expert version.....
