3rd generation solar panels?

A potential customer has had these offered to them by another company. This is a new one on me. Can anyone let me what they at about please ?

They're made of Unobtanium and have a faint aroma of male cow droppings about them. Favoured by those in commission-financed shiny suits.

ahhh, I've come across this before.

Apparently, generation 1 had 1 bypass diode, gen 2 had 2 bypass diodes, 3rd generation solar panels have 3 bypass diodes.

Oddly enough, the panels I bought in 1998 had 3 bypass diodes, as do pretty much every PV panel on the market, other than a few that have more than 3, so obviously it's complete rubbish.
