3x RCD single phase board?

Hello, does anyone know of an off the shelf 3 RCD consumer unit?

I've got a CU change coming up, with 16 circuits. Not a greater than normal load, just the circuits have been divided up when a rewire was done many years ago, and there is to be a further 3 or 4 new circuits in an extension.
I'm not happy having 8 circuits on each RCD, so would like to split them further.
The customer will not go to the greater expense of a full RCBO board.

I could go to a pair of standard CU's side by side, but would prefer to fit a single board, albeit it would be longer than typical.

Any ideas?

I think you'll struggle mate, think you'll have to go with 2 CUs if they won't stump up for RCBOs. Unless you're really clever and can knock one up yourself.

I'd have thought 2x split load CU's or fabricate your own using a large din rail?
But I've never had to do anything like that.
Is it domestic?

The likely maximum modules on a single row single phase board is about 22 if you then use 8 of those with 3 RCDs and a main switch you only have 14 ways left for circuits so no room for 16 circuits. I think there are some 24 way boards (hager) but I may just be thinking of double stacked boards, which can have three RCDs but it would be cheaper to use RCBOs.

OK, thanks, it looks like 2 CUs then, but I'll ask at the Wholesalers today to see if thay can get anything.
It is currently a 1990's non-rcd board with 10 circuits.
4 more circuits to be added for a loft extension and garage supply.
It is a large house, but only a single couple occupying it, and they are not young, hence the total demand will be quite low, except when their family come round and the new electric shower comes into use.
They want RCD protection for all circuits, so the old CU has to go.

pop to city's see if proteus will make you one up they made one for me 22 ways 7,7,6 the 2 7 ways were RCD protected then i used RCBO's on the rest wasnt the cheapest way of doing it but it worked

Triple rcd boards do exist. I believe wylex do one and have seen mk ones in the past. They are generally the 2 layer affairs and usually stupidly expensive.
Might be cheaper to make your own, or as said, a large adaptable hi integrity board.

Yes, I'll google that, it could work out, I definitely need 14 circuits, but would like to have at least one spare way in it.

two MK boards with a stacking (joining) kit should do it. You can usually get the small MK boards (12 & 16 way) fully loaded on offer at some wholesalers, so the whole deal isn't too expensive. Can be helpful where you need extra ways but are restricted on space for a long CU. Don't know of any smaller stacked boards though.

If you are prepared to use some RCBOs then it does get within range. Cudis consumer unit hi integrity £55 plus £30 for MCBs/RCBO 16 ways?
