Ive seen a few posts from people on here saying that you need to be employed in the industry to do the L3 2330 is this true because the tutors never said anything about needing to be employed within the Industry to be able to do the L3 ?

also what are the requirements for an IPAF Scissor lift re-newal as the training instructor mentioned something about it but ive forgotten what it was. (ive had my ticket for 3 years)

also the CSCS instructor mentioned something about free cscs re-newal but ive forgotten what that was ?

and im also considering paying to get my Cherry picker ticket it costs $170 +VAT but offers additional catergories at $35 each so i was wondering what other catergory would be best to go for i.e Vehicle mounted or Spider cherry picker etc ?

if your IPAF is 3 yrs plus ago the classes have changed 3a 3b are boom and scossors also covers more imo id add lorry mount other ones are spider( specalist not many around) SHOP around I got my 3a 3b for ÂŁ150+vat didnt ask about more as I dont need more

the CSCS for free? its only around ÂŁ35 to do it

the CSCS test is only $20 were i live.but yer done my Scissor over 3 year ago .all i was told by the instructor was that i could drive any size scissor legs or no legs :p. So i imagine that still stands ?. But yer i was thinking of doing the cherry pick and the lorry mounted pic .but if i save enough then i might as well go for the spider mounted boom seeing as it's only $35 for each additional cattergory or do you think that doing 3 catergories in one 1 day (Spider is 2 day course) will be too much to do in that space of time ?

also what are the requirements for an IPAF Scissor lift re-newal as the training instructor mentioned something about it but ive forgotten what it was. (ive had my ticket for 3 years)

never heard anything about the cscs card being free, the ecs test would not have to be taken with your nvq if you took it

and im also considering paying to get my Cherry picker ticket it costs $170 +VAT but offers additional catergories at $35 each so i was wondering what other catergory would be best to go for i.e Vehicle mounted or Spider cherry picker etc ?

hope that clears things up for you .

Cheers mogga/phil. Yer im sure the cscs practice tutor said something along the lines of the cscs Card re-newal being free as long as you re-newed your card just before it runs out ?
