hey guys can anybody shed any light on this problem. i am carrying out remedial work from a periodic inspection , carried out bye another company. they have put max zs 1.15 for 40 a type 4 mcbs , a know this is wrong and the higest measured zs is 0.34.. currently theres 8 way 3 ph D.Bs with these mcbs controling sub boards (1 ph). the company has put these done as a code 1 suggesting all boards be replaced, i don't understand why this would be recommended , can anybody shed any light on this.

Touting for work.

If the existing board is in good order and the max Zs's meet the max for the type of MCB, then there should be no reason to condemn it. Certainly not just because it's obsolete poduction.

i re done pir after someone els they broke the ring on 2 circuits and said it needed to be rewired ÂŁ7000 to do it and the charged ÂŁ750 for the pir they done in 1 day i done it all and repaired it for ÂŁ1500 industrial company who needed a satisfactory for insurance what do you think of that then

As per above from Dave. Swap to a 63A outlet and problem goes away. What gets plugged into it is not part of an inspection.
