fancypantsyeah

what is the best way to put 230v single phase circuits onto a db with a 3phase 3 wire system with no neutral connection........

is this Db a submain? Then rewire it with a new (swa?) with a neutral. I have converted 3 phase boards to single phase using a conversion kit, but there was a neutral there. No neutral = no chance. Unusual set up for a db though to be honest.

exactly thankyou...... i am havin a debait with a freind and you answered my question for me........
cheers lads...
was debaiting that in old typ of supply that becasuse the 3 phases are delta are 120 deggrees out of phase with each other , thaat you could put a single phase circuit on the said system, with out a neutral?????

old type of supply?

3 phase is still 120 degrees apart!

I have just posted on your other thread having just read it.

I suggest you calm down, take a deep breath and think for a moment, then try to articulate, starting from the beginning, what you have in front of you, and what you want to achieve at the end of it.

Breathe, now, breathe....
