redface

dose anyone use 4mm tw/e now to supply sockets on 32a mcb as a spur if so what distance can you go in plastic 3 compartment trunking reference method c is 37A but methord B is 32A
now as there is only 1 cable in trunking. so i cant see why it drops 5A just to being inclosed in plastic

or dose everyone still use 2.5 ring circuits

no not home work i just put a 4mm tw/e spur of sockets about 70m in 3 compartment trunking on a 32A MCB and am just wondering if i need to make it a ring or weather you would or not it is only for a few computers and microscopes i could lower MCB i suppose .

So you have already carried out the work, but you're not exactly sure whether it is correct?
What calculations did you carry out regarding circuit loading, EFLI, voltdrop etc. ?

As the BGB says historically the floor area served has been limited to 75m "SQUARED".

The reason there is a 5a CCC between cables installed method C and B is due to the cable heat dissipation simple

EDIT So your NOT fine.
