Hi all as above I have been given a job different to what I usually do from one of my friends / builder.

Normally just do separate houses etc.. but this is an older property that has been owned by a bank before and rented out as separate flats.
I haven't got hold of dno yet but there is only a single phase supply coming in and 2 meters and 3 consumer units throughout.

I think one c/u does most of 3 flats and also landlords hallways etc.. and another does one flat upstairs and a separate cu does the maisonette. It all seems a bit of a mix up.

One large cylinder and boiler plus immersion in top floor flat supplies hot water and heating for all the separate flats and maisonette has it's own cylinder.

Owner is looking at really basic convector heaters in each flat plus their own hot water cylinders which I am sure will push up the loading to needing a 3 phase main brought in from the dno.

Would anyone think that would be the case as I'm thinking the max demand will easily be over anything single phase.

Also there is just a variety of mains fed smoke and heat alarms in place at the moment and I'm not sure that the property wouldn't require a proper fire alarm panel fitted for multiple dwelling ?

Thanks all,

I'm taking it I can just fit a decent 3 phase dist board and split single phase out to a number of switch fuses and on to meter and sub main to each separate flat consumer unit. Space is limited so am thinking 4 way 3 phase Hager Invicta or similar.
