Hi everyone

Putting a Kitchen and Utility on a new ring final circuit.

The Utility is single storey with a concrete roof so I'm using the 150mm top zone.

I am within 100mm of the double insulated combi boiler flue. The cable will be buried but do you think this would dissipate the heat? Thinking of 528.3 and I'm concerned.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance. Regards, David

that would depend on other circuit design specs, but guessing that it is a standard domestic install.

If the cable was in a loft and one side was covered with thermal insulation and the other not it wouldnt be problem.

is this not a case of over worrying?

don't think much heat will escape from the flue. if you fit metal capping over the cable , even if just close to the flue, that will help dissipate the heat, if any , coming near the cable.
