5m to cu

I need to install a cu which is over 3m from a new PME supply. Have searched but can't seem to find any 'best practice' advise on what cable to use etc. The cu is 5 meters away. Whats best method?? Is there detailed info on this situation anywhere?

you will normally find that the supply authority will require a switch fuse spur as their fuse is only to protect the first 3 m

As above reply, install a fused main isolating switch at the mains intake if the board is remote (more than 3 m)
from the consumer unit.

Thanks for answers. What about ideal cable type? Still use XPE tails?
