Hi there, i have a customer that wants a 9.8kw shower and a 9.8kw boiler installed in his flat as the property has no gas supply. Obviously you wont be using both at the same time so my way in thinking is to get an isolator which will only let you use one of the items and when you want to use the other just turn the isolator. im struggling to find an isolator that can do this but i know you can get them. Any help will be great thanks

You need a change over switch - usually used when you have a backup generator. Switch is usually set to the mains, but if the mains fail then start the genny up and switch to the generator supply. cCan be used in 'reverse' to have one supply and two loads.

Any good electrical wholesaler should be able to get one. Come in all sizes so 63A will not be a problem.
