63a 230v commando plug help.....

Any idea what would be the maximum size SWA I would be able to terminate in there - without too much of a struggle...?

From memory at least 16 mm maybe even 25mm , but you would be better with s/y cable surely ?

Need to get a 16mm in there so that sounds promising - thank you

s/y would be much better, but where this going swa only option this time.... temp supply for marquee - run right across the ground.

But to be honest , still prefer s/y and lay flat cable protectors , commandos just ain't made for swa imo .

they aint made for SWA, but it can be made to work, although it is a massive pain in ther rear. i too would go with SY, and terminate the screen in the CPC at each plug and socket.

SY is definitely looking more favorable - got to give the swa a try first though just to see what I'm up against

if you are going to have to use SWA I would terminate into an IP rated enclosure then run SY or even H07RNF to plug. Might be more expensive but it will result in a reliable termination for the earth.
