Lads please can you settle a debate please .

we have a container with 2x 16amp wall mounted 240v sockets , 2x 16amp 110v wall mounted sockets & 1x 1kw heater and a twin 4ft fitting with 2x36w lamps high freq fitting.

Theres a hook up cable with a plug to go on .

would you get away with a 32amp plug or 63amp??

thanks

I think you are looking at a diversity factor here, (Is every thing going to be used at the same time?) what is the size of the hook up cable and main fuse? only you know that.

yep agree its down to diversity we dont know what the container is to be used for, what is likely to be plugged in etc etc a 32amp will suffice if its calculated it wont be exceeded and as long as your cabling is correct and its front ended with 32amp protection if you dont know this info or the use of the sockets then you may need to use worse case senerio and 63amp plug arrangment with 40A, 50A or 63A fusing.
Another big factor is your kw rating of the transformer and what rating mcb is needed at the supply to avoid nuisence tripping from the inrush its not just a case of making it a type 'd' you need to source manufacturers guidence as to the suggested mcb for said transformer, i assume you have dist' board in the container so you need to make sure the mcb for the transformer is also complemented by the front end mcb, its no good the mcb in the dist board not tripping if it keeps tripping the supply fuse.
