6mm Gas Bond

Hi Guys,

If a 6mm Gas Bond is in good enough nick is it ok to leave it?

generally, if there is no sign of deterioration, and the bonding has been there for years, provided that you check connections and continuity, can be left. make a note on the cert. with the reason why.

i would say it can be left on TNC-S providing that adiabatic proves main earthing conductor min. required csa is < or = 12mm,

there is no reason why a 6mm bonding conductor must be changed on an existing supply providing its adequate with no signs of mechanical or thermal damage

note on cert that its left in place and why
