6mm meter tails

Found this when going to carry out E.I.C.R today meter man had even put label on to show it was Neutral surely he should have failed it

No idea what it was you found as there was no picture but assuming it's the 6mm that you're complaining about what was the cut out fuse rating?

Well the good news is they should come out to replace the head FOC. No guarantee of course, is that a crackling noise I can hear coming from it? And what's that burning smell?
While they're there you can get the right csa tail in there.

6mmT&E tails going to CU

Their on the way will be here by 3:00 new tails already to go

Are they coming straight out of the head? If so it looks like someone hasn't had the foresight to connect them through the meter

The neutral comes from the meter to the CU but the live goes from the meter back into a terminal block inside the head then the 6mm live comes out of this to the CU
They are working on it now soon be done then I can go home
