78mm Hole Cutter

Hi,
My company uses a lot of Senate's own branded downlighters, the SGF50 range. The problem now is that they have altered the cutout from 74mm to 78mm. I don't seem to be able to source a 78mm cutter. Anyone know where I can get one or is it going to have to be an adjustable one ?.

And before anyone suggests it I've asked Senate and they're stumped as well, in fact they were unaware of the design change to their own product.

i have a bosch one so you can get them, although you can usually get away with 2-3 mm either way depending on the shape of the fitting

You can get 79mm from UK drills.

If you want 78mm you can get one here although I have never heard of the brand : Presto 9S700 - Bi-Metal Hole Saw - 78mm --- Sealey & Draper Tools - Classic-Car-World Tool Shop

Personally I would go for this one: Starrett 79mm Bi-Metal HSS Holesaw - Power Tool Accessories, For - Drills, Holesaws - Starrett 1mm will allow a nice enough gap for the springs so you dont rip your fingers apart getting them in and out.

Yes 79mm is about right as said above, 1mm over is a good fit.
I can source Dewalt, Lenox, Irwin, Starrett and Ultra all at 79mm
No 78mm tho. strange that they would make them that size, obviously did not look into the practical side of it.
