IIRC its 60% and no, the questions aren't in any kind of order.

At least they weren't when I did mine and its not unusual to get asked the same question twice

2382 pass mark is 80% questions are loaded so answers from section 4 and 5 are worth more than the rest

Section 1 first 4 questions
Section 2 next 3 questions
Section 3 next 5 questions
Section 4 next 14 questiions
Section 5 next 15 questions
Section 6 next 6 questions
Section 7 next 10 questions
Appx next 3 questions

That was in April last year cant see that it has changed much since then.

This is still the same - did mine just before crimbo!!

The questions I got were more or less in order of part 1 part 2 etc....including the apx. I labeloled up my book and made an index in the back of all the tables and where they are in the book. The examiner watching us did not have a problem with my book. The more organised you can get your book the better you will do in the exam.

I marked the page numbers against all the contents pages and chapters so rather than looking for long ref numbers i just used the page numbers to locate such beauties as 415.1.1 which concerns RCD additional protection etc..

The exam is a 60% + TO PASS..........its a 2hr exam for the full course. If you rush you can get it done in 1hr and 15 mins, but i did get a low % of 78

My tutor did say the pass mark fluctuates due to question loading and current pass rates. Did the course last June.....

As to the questions, they do come in section order as per the posts above, however they will jump about within the section. Get the Exam Success book, it does explain the exam and it covers a lot of the questions in the exam in the book

agree with the listing above of the number of questions per section etc.. Also the Pass mark % does indeed fluctuate dependant on the questions issued during that particular exam.

I got 95%.

The questions are in order as above running through the chapters, but they are in no specific order within the chapter. As long as you have the book marked well it will aid your progress through the exam. Basically the best bit of advice is to rattle through the questions and dont dwell too long looking for answers. Chances are a subsequent question will point you in the right direction.
