a good book to start with

im looking at going back to collage in september to start my c &g level 2 in electrical . can you recommend any books that will be good to study before my course. if i get approval from work i ve only got one chance to get the qualification

is any other courses good for home learning if my work decide not to give me the day off to do the course which is on a part time bases

I would not really advise the home route mate. if work wont let you have the day off i would be tempted to do the evening ones. trevor linsley has some good books out i think there is a post on this forum about books but you can take a look at these if you want

thanks for the advice there is a collage that does a course 2 nights a week might be a better option .

Which course are you hoping to do? I thought the C&G 2330 was in its last year and they were bringing out something new for next academic year. However if it is this "Electrical installation" by Scadden covers all of the c+g 2330 course levels 2 and 3.
