A bit 'waffley'.

It wasn't really about supplementary bonding itself but merely determining if it is required and whether parts are extraneous and how to use the meter where RCDs are present.
I don't think it will help those who don't understand and those who do don't need it.

Shouldn't all electricians have a meter that can measure the required values?

He didn't mention that ALL circuits in the location must have RCD protection (did he?) nor the other two conditions along with RCD protection for the omission of supplementary bonding.

Shouldn't the 'known earth' be the MET?


I realise it was about situations protected by an RCD but he could have mentioned the requirements when no RCD is in place.
