Just been offered £350 to do a complete install by a contractor (no mention of part P or diesel). Is this now the going rate?!
Politely decline and offered to provide expert technical advice such as fault finding on systems that aren't working properly.

depends what it is and how many jobs. If it's 4 panels on buildings at first fix stage, and they've got 20 buildings on the same site then it could be worth it as you should be able to do 3-4 a day between a 2 man team, particularly if you get them to lift the panels up to the scaffolding for you.

"the contractor"
they dont have to pay for mcs accreditation and do all paperwork and insurance and working at heights and submit work on the database for the money they are offering ohh not to mention the install (they are taking the p) oh yeh and the part p side of things what an insult to you!!
