if i can come of from a ring to one point i.e. a double socket . but not 2 singles . would you class a duel box as 1 point or 2
so could i come of of thre ring into a duel box ?

Im using imagination here but I suspect its to do with the CCC of the cable, which assuming is 2.5, then just follow the 'string' of cable and add up the 13's you'll see what does and doesnt make sense, tapping off a ring in 2.5 on 32a breaker!

Coming off the ring to a dual socket = 1 point

Coming off the ring to a dual box (two seperate connections) = 2 points (having said that a dual box for 2 x FCU's which are fused down should be allowed IMHO).

seeing as 2.5 is rated for 27amps clipped direct and the most you can draw from a double socket is 26 amps (13 x 2) then you can do this.
