Without googling...
Prove 2 = 1
If a = b
multiply with a
a[SUP]2[/SUP] = ab
subtract b[SUP]2[/SUP]
a[SUP]2[/SUP] - b[SUP]2[/SUP] = ab - b[SUP]2[/SUP]
factor both sides...
(a + b)(a - b) = b(a - b)
divide out (a -b)
(a + b) = b
as a = b
a+a=a
2a=a
therefore
2=1
