Just doing some certificates and noticed two minor works for one bathroom job. One for shower replacement with new switch, one for light and lv fan. Part P certs both exactly the same,'circuit alteration or addition in special location'. Do I need to send two? Just a thought rather than a prob. Cheers. Ian.

Do you mean two notifications? As two circuits have been altered then two minor works certificates will be required however only one notification would have to be made to the LABC which would detail both aspects of the job.

Thanks gents,as I thought. I've only notified once. But notifying requires certificate number (two certificates).Just a point.

I can never be bothered to input the cert no. on the notification website, it's not mandatory anyway since it lets you submit without it.

Thanks Dunc, that's that sorted.

My certificates use the same number as the invoice for the job. If there's more than 1 certificate I use xxxxxxx/A, xxxxxx/B etc
