please allocate 2 full days to an audit of your VAT accounts from the point you registered....

brilliant, just what we needed. At some point between our PV & SWH MCS inspection last month, end of year accounts, and planned heat pump and biomass MCS inspection later this month, and now a 2 day VAT audit, I think we're also supposed to find some time to do the work we need to do to pay the bills and keep the company running.

Anyone else fancy inspecting us while we're at it?

RECC - sorry shouldn't have said it. Makes me so mad, we've got MCS on Monday, we're actually busy at the minute - what do you do, turn customers away and prepare or take the consequences but at least have something to pay the bills.

Good luck Gavin at least you won't be bothered by anyone else for 12 months after all this!

damn, I'd forgotten there were those 2 who could still decide to join the party.

I've had to set someone onto creating a file of all invoices and receipts as it turns out we've been filing them all individually in each customers folder. That must be a couple of thousand files to copy and paste individually.... I kinda knew this was the case and we started doing it more recently, but it's going to be a pain to have to refile them all.

To be fair, we weren't exactly ready for our MCS audit. In the end it was quicker to let them give us the NCs and then sort them out afterwards.

yeah, issue is it's my bro who does the accounts and he's also chief panel monkey and we're really busy. Still, he'll jsut have to sort it out on weekends or something, definitely not getting personally involved, it all seems reasonably in hand to me anyway.
