AC Isolator !

Dear all,

In case of a big PV Farm installation (1MW), the 3 inverters are equipped with 3 Circuit Breakers (one per phase) and one AC Switch at the AC output .

Do I need to install an additional AC Switch/CB between the inverters and the transformer?

It would make good sense to, that way the whole site can be isolated with just one switch, it's what we do when we have multiple inverters, - each one has it's one isolator / breakers for maintenance purposes and one big b***r for the site.

Plus we always put one at each end of the big cable - one in the inverter room and one in the transformer station. (obviously depends on distance from inverters to transformer.)

Is this the eos energy job down south?
