Hi
which is the best storage box i.e. for crimps, screws, etc.
ive currently got a black & decker one with individual containers within it but as usual, the screws etc find theyre way into other compartments, get stuck under the containers, then the lid unclips and it all falls out. aaarrrggghhh.

Can someone recommend a really good one where this doesn't happen.

Thanks

There are loads of different types of storage containers around, stanley make some nice ones.

But, for the smaller screws & plugs etc, I prefer the metal cases with the foam on the inside of the lid. This gives a tight seal onto the tops of the individual containers.

Also, being metal, the lid doesn't bow outwards.

I have a couple of stanley fatmax ones, they were about ÂŁ20 each a couple of years ago. Internally it has individual compartments which you can take out, and the lid is fitted so nothing leaks across into other compartments, it also has a clear lid, and has a shoulder strap.

Cheers..........Howard

I Buy the wall plug/screw sets from screwfix, they are on special offer 2 or 3 times a year for ÂŁ3.00 and are full of useful odds and ends, as well as having plenty room still left for fuses, box lid screws, crimps, critchleys etc....and the Rwlplug boxes are curver branded.....I got a few of them.....just look at the wallplug set boxes in screwfix.....after that I go into maplins and they have lots of different sizes and types of boxes in there at ok prices...a lot of Racco brand made in Denmark(have used for years and very good) and some really nice UK manufactured (Really useful box company Ltd branded) ones too ....nice :stuart:

stanley double sided jobbie with trays in the middle
or homebase have a small carry thing with 4 compartmented trays with covers around 20ish cant find it on their website :(
