Accountants & AVN

Hello All

Been with Accountant for quite a few years ago has helped my business know end, Looking forward we are now looking at using a tool for accountants called AVN, Has anyone used this tool & if so what do you think of the system.

From My point of view it seems quite a good tool if i put in the time, using it at our last meeting it showed the track of my company against others that use the system in my area & my criteria, turnover, location, type of work Ect.

one page Business plan
CRM type package (tracking trends with customers)
Financial breakdowns Ect.

What are your thoughts on this?

Never heard of it.

As for business comparisons - how can you sure you are comparing apples with apples?

I would concentrate on doing what you best!

As for the CRM, financial breakdowns etc - I use Quickbooks pro - so this package does all this for me! I can see my costs, P&L, performance against budget etc etc

The package may be great but it's worth remembering that accountants nowadays make money by being authorized resellers of this type of product meaning his advice isn't impartial so you're right to be doing some due diligence before blindly taking his advice.

Thanks for the advice just having a look really at this point, from what I have looked at on the system & what was gleaned from the seminar there are a few bits that could earn me some more income for no more real work just adjusting the way I do things.
