ACDC adapter help

Does anyone know if it is possible to identify ACDC transformer adapters for electrical goods anywhere on the web. I have an adapter and I don't know what it goes to!!
The info is:
Foreen Industries Model: DB045050-35
AC230V 50Hz 6.5W DC4.5V 500mA 2.25VA
"For indoor use only, conforms to BS EN61558 BS1363 Clause 12 Part 1"
and it has a small 3.5mmOD barrel connector on the other end.
The polarity is -ve on the sleeve and +ve on the tip.
Does anyone know where I can find out what this might be used for?

could be a mobile phone charger. why do you need to know? i've got dozens of these things, no idea what they were for. will get round to binning them all soon.

Could be anything I'm afraid. You'll probably find it could power multiple things in your home but with out the spec of the item it's meant to power... I have no idea!

Have a look at the items that are missing a transformer and go from there.

I find it useful to label transformers (PSU's) as I always have the same problem.

I don't need to know, its just annoying. I thought maybe there would be a big database somewhere of all the adapters in the world... ? wishful thinking maybe.

The worst part is the foreen industries bit, complete dead end there. At least if it was Samsung or casio or something like many of my other "PSUs" are I would have some sort of clue...

Its not a mobile phone, I have all of those old charger neatly stored away together in a tangle in my bottom drawer.

Just chuck it in the bin & the day after the bin's been emptied you'll find the appliance that needs it.

My girlfriend couldn't find the psu for her tree lights this past Christmas & was wondering where it had gone.
