Adding Loft Lights

As i have mentioned in my first post on here, i am a little bit behind on the domestic yes's and no's

My question is: i have been asked to install two light roses into a loft, currently nothing up there at all.

I am have no problem with the actual installation, but is this notifiable work?? and requires being certificated??

Add to the existing lighting circuit not notifiable, if you run a new circuit it is notifiable and minor works required for existing circuit and EIC for new circuit

This is a simple addition, 'looping' in on the existing lighting curcuit from the 1st floor circuit

It amazes me how a simple system such as what is notifiable can't be understood

Just to chuck a spanner in the works. This is the reason i dont loop to switches , if you 3 plate then a loft light is easier, as you have the live and neautral in the loft already.
