Hi Everyone, I'm thinking of adding 4 double sockets to a ring question is can i use a 30mA RCD of one of the existing sockets then add my other 4 from the RCD ?

Yes, but lacking in experience. Are you a spark?
Thanks, can i then fit my 4 sockets of this RCDyou'd need to fit a 13A RCD FCU,as you can only spur 1 socket outlet off a ring without fusing down.
Thanks Andy, you've just solved my problem
Gotcha, thanks Murdoch^^ yes, but remember you are limited to 13A max
Yes Anthony, but i want to spur off with more than one socket and nothing i plug in will no where near touch 13AIs the ring final circuit not RCD protected already ?
Thanks telectrix, i understand that, just wanted to know if it could be done legally.you'd need to fit a 13A RCD FCU,as you can only spur 1 socket outlet off a ring without fusing down.
Thank you dave, that is another option i need to look closely at, it would also keep cost down, thank you.Why don't you just break into the RFC, and keep it that way.?
