hey guys looking for bit of advice. doing a periodic inspection report on a bunch of premisses. the contractor has installed new cookers and has taken a new supply to kitchen. he could not get breakers for old board so he has installed a new d.b. in 6mm t&e from top side of mains switch. looking for advice on what code to use for this as i wont to be accurate as there are a few houses the same. cheers guys!

I'd say a code 2.
Does not pose immediate danger but requires improvement. Other people could add circuits to the new CU and the 6.0mm would be too small for the connected load. Really, a 6mm feeding a CU wants fusing down first and not protected by the cut-out fuse alone
