hi is there anyone who can advise.
i have an ade optima compact and i have forgotten my user code, how do i get back to factory set

Depends on what panel you have so PM me and I will send you a copy of the engineers manual so you can reset the panel back to factory set conditions some panel ther is 2 pins you can short out on power up but this panel you need to link out 2 terminals on power up

yep that fine and its in the manual but if he does not have one then he has a panel in alarm with no code (0123) to silence

yep it will go to FSC but if you dont have a manual what code do you put in because as you know 1234 and1111 will not work only 0123 and then you need instructions to reprog it

if i rem correct, its "prog" 0123 8 xxxx reset ( where xxxx is the new code )

Hi. Oldtimer. Is it possible you or anyone can assist me. Ade optima compact alarm. Doesn't say anything else on alarm. My alarm is going off and landlord doesn't know the code. Just pulled fuse but I would like to keep and use thr alarm. Tried a few things from reading on here but just a wild goose chase.

don't you have the code, if it's your alarm? or have you just moved in?

Just moved in. Tried the default coded but no joy. Alarm currently off as I just pulled the fuse.

If you pulled the fuse and it switched the alarm off then this tells me that there is either no panel and sounder batteries or they are not fitted also there is no magic code to get it it has to be reset to FSC Factory Set Conditions
