Discuss Adjustable Hole Cutter Cowling? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I worked with a guy who had one I saw it and thoguht "oh dear what is that" but its very good, can do any size hole you need, and catches the debris. Going to get myself one.

I've got a couple but without the cowling.
They seem ok on small holes but can get a bit wobbly and out of balance on larger ones.

There is also DADE Dust and Debris Eliminator, which is a silicon cowl which catches and traps the dust and debris whilst allowing the use of hole-saws up to 120mm. In my opinion this is quicker, easier, cheaper and works a treat. Most of us already use hole-saws anyway and this device allows them to be still used whilst catching all the nasties, best of all worlds!

Hi

I have purchased the DADE and i cant believe how good it is. Really simple to use and seems like it will last forever, no silly blades just pop your standard hole saws in and away you go. There website is www.simpleideasuk.com

I also use the same as lofty, they're a god send! Saves a lot of time on cleaning and covering things up. The only problem I find is getting replacement blades
