Advertising on websites

Hi all,

Thinking of starting some advertising on a few checkatrade.com etc websites.

I advertise in a few of the local papers but not getting alot of work of from them.

So wondered if anyone else advertises on these types of websites?

If so does it actually pay off or just another waste of money?
