Evening all.
Im a subby and been working in the field for about 3 years.
Almost completed my level 2 2365, thinking ahead to next year and it's the level 3 2365.
I currently attend Bedford college two evenings a week and there seems to be a lot of confusion about what's happening with certain courses.
They have said that the part p course is now redundant and they won't offer it any longer. However all the other electricians I work with all have it along with nvqs etc.
They have also said the level 3 nvq is changing I don't know exactly how but apparently some form of domestic nvq and an industrial nvq will replace it.
Anyone else heard of this as it makes me reluctant to sign up with them for my level 3 may attend another college that doesn't move the goal posts every few months.

Thanks for reading

Part P is a building regulation, you dont need to do a bogus course to know how to comply with it as an electrician. It's content is freely available online.

As for the NVQ, I am not sure really. Have not heard that it is changing to be honest. I am sure someone on here could clarify that though.
