Advice needed - colour changing led spotlights

Hi, hopefully someone can help with a search I am currently on!

I am having a new extension built and I want to install 3 flush / recessed LED colour changing spotlights mounted in the wall just above the skirting board to give a twist / wash of light across the floor to an upstairs landing.

The stud wall has a depth of ca 65mm so I need something that will fit inside this depth inside the wall.

Will I need a transformer? If yes can this be fitted inside the wall?
Is heat build up an issue?
Can I purchase normal spotlights and fit colour changing lamps? (I have seen these type of GU10 lamps online).
Can anyone recomend a website or electrical wholesaler who sell this type of thing?

what about something like this

no heat from leds

these would need a socket in the loft and you could switch it with a fused spur
