Advice needed for Napit assessment

Hi everyone new to the forum

I,ve changed my consumer unit at home, upgraded bonding etc for my Napit assessment.

Everything is ok apart from Im unsure on 1 aspect, my cooker switch/isolator is 400mm directly above the hob, would this need to be moved or is it ok with been an existing installation?

As far as i am aware it is the Building Regulations that require accessories should not be mounted so that it is necessary to lean or reach over a cooker to operate them.

either way you have replaced the cu only, the locotaion of existing accessories is not down to you

Hi, from my experience with Napit assesors they are pretty reasonable and definately not out to trip you up.
As the last post stated, pointing out that you would not install that way would be fine as you have not done that part of install.

Dont know who the assessor will be, just sent paperwork off last week!
