Replacing a two way switch cover I’ve lost my note of the correct wiring on one of the switches.
Switch 1 has:
Grey to Common
Brown to L1
Black to L2
The wiring in place for Switch 2 has:
A single red wire
A yellow and red wire twisted together
A blue and black wire twisted together
My questions are:
Which colours go where in switch 2 And for interest, why does switch 1 have 3 wires and switch 2 a total of 5. What do the 2 additional wires do ? Why wouldn’t the colours in both switches match.
Thanks ever so much.

Switch one look like it's the end part of a 2 way light circuit and Grey, is your common or LINE and the black and Brown are the strappers.

Switch two is Red Common/LINE with the Yellow and Blue as your strappers. The Red and black are from your light and go with the strappers.

The two different colours are RED/BLACK and RED/YELLOW/BLUE are pre colour harmonisation and maybe 7 years old. The BROWN/BLACK/GREY are the new colours.

Furthermore, as the left hand switch will currently not do anything, I'd try the loose brown in here:
