Hi , this is all new to me . I have been in the trade for about 15 years and worked my way through most types of install but never got round to getting qualified. The company that I was working for folded and has left me in the ****e. So I have taken and passed my C & G 2382 and I'm due to take the I & T 2391-10 next week. Is that going to be enough for me to continue in this industry and what should I do next?

i suppose it's all down to what type of work you want to do. if you are going to be employed by a company, they will specify what they want. if you are going to set up on your own, competence is the key word.

In all honesty and without being big headed I am competent,I quite like the idea of going out on my own in the domestic market to start with. I know I will miss the commercial side but I can always progress into it later. The trouble is there is not much work out there to get employed and earn what I am used to earning.
