I would appreciate some help on the appropriate way to deal with a main electrical cable which runs along the exterior wall of a wooden walled residential building which is to be externally insulated with thick expanded polystyrene, rendered on top. Can the cables be covered with trunking and then the insulation over the top of that? Are there any regulations dealing with this issue? Thanks in advance.
