Hi all,
I want to pre-fix this post with a disclaimer: I am not an electrician, I have no clue about such things which is why I come on here looking for advice. What I am asking may be completely ridiculous, so please if it is, say so. I do not intend to carry out any of this work myself, but instead ask a qualified electrician to do on my behalf.
I have a security light outside (black generic floodlight style) which I would like to power a small security camera instead of the light with the same feed.
The current of the mini camera I believe to not exceed 2A, and the interface is a mains plug. If a suitable electrian could route the wires into the attic neatly, is this possible on a circuit presumably designed for lights?
