hey everyone.

ive recently taken the jump and set up on my own..... really exciting if not hard work and ive been looking into gettin my NIC, NAPIC or ECA but really cant get my head round which one would be most beneficial..

any opinions or advise would be very very appreciated

every body has there preference!!!

why not ring them up and decide your self... you may find a certain provider will be more than accomodating and flexible to your self.

p.s they all do same job any way!!

Don't do it for the sake of it. Prove the viability of needing an approval first, I'd say.

Each has its own merits and disadvantages, and all will involve extra expense and paperwork.

Commercially, the NIC probably has the recognition advantage, over the ECA, but the ECA is perceived as more "upmarket" or solid to some.

Elecsa and NAPIT are slightly different cases. And mostly relevant for inspection and testing and Part P work.

In the end, it's a matter for preference, what your business needs and can support, and what you're likely to gain from it.
