Advice Please Re Cooker Socket Change To Double Socket

HI Guys
Just a quick one as we have a difference of opinion,

Old Cooker socket on a B32 6mm Radial has been changed to 3 double sockets. 6mm from C/U to first socket, then 2.5mm to next double and 2.5mm to next double.

The question is should the B32 now be changed to a B16/B20 as per appendix 15? Or is the B32 OK as the plugs will fuse at 13amp anyway?

that was my opinion !! Can only get B16's for this board so will change it - Thanks for the quick reply

No i know that the 16 a will protect the cable but i was always under the impression that it you change cable size you should have fcu?

Disconnect the 2 wired in 2.5 and make sure the CU is labelled up properly or someone may go bang when going to work on that socket in 6mm

Not sure what you mean by disconnecting the sockets, ( hard a hard day ) they need to be there .... - I have labelled the Consumer Unit up as " Kitchen2 Sockets X3 " and "wrote" 2.5mm. Also labelled up Sockets with Kitchen 2

Down grade the cpu to 16 or 20, mark up the board clearly, no edward you dont need ths sw fused spur as the cb will cover overload.
